Advanced Gas + Gamma Detection

Harness the widest range of protection and enhanced threat detection at your worksites.

  • Broad portfolio of gas sensors from which to choose
  • Swappable cartridges to match the gases being monitored to the potential hazards
  • Ability to monitor up to eight gases simultaneously
    • Customisable four-gas cartridge pre-loaded
    • Option to add a preset combination of four gases in the gas expansion module
  • Optional integrated gamma radiation sensor*
  • High-volume alarm siren paired with highly-visible alert lights when gas or gamma radiation detected

Connected workplace

EXO features two output ports that can be configured to send signals to other equipment on your site. Should gas levels reach a high threshold you can activate external sirens, and open or close gates in the event

of an emergency, or flashlights and sound a siren to alert personnel within a zone.

During an emergency, the EXO 8 can leverage relays to communicate to other areas of your site, empowering real-time awareness and visibility of an incident. EXO connects your teammates through the use of zone alarms, automatically alerting other devices in its zone.

If you need to make changes on the fly? No problem, change or update EXO’s configuration over the air in seconds. The Blackline Safety EXO 8 delivers never-before-seen area monitoring control in a rugged, easy-to-use and deployed system.

The G7 EXO by Blackline Safety was a groundbreaking innovation in the field of area monitoring. As the world's first cloud-connected area monitor, it integrated 2G/3G/4G communications to automatically connect to the Blackline Safety Cloud, providing real-time insights into environmental conditions. This eliminated the need for manual data collection and cumbersome RFID tags, making it a versatile and efficient solution for monitoring toxic and combustible gases. The G7 EXO was designed to withstand harsh conditions with its robust aluminium body and full-colour interface, ensuring reliable performance in various environments.

However, Blackline Safety has now introduced the EXO 8, which builds on the success of the G7 EXO with enhanced capabilities. The EXO 8 is capable of detecting up to eight gases and gamma radiation, offering broader protection and early hazard detection. It retains the rugged, drop-and-go design and boasts up to 100 days of battery life, making it an even more powerful tool for ensuring workplace safety. With its advanced gas and radiation detection, the EXO 8 represents the next step in connected safety solutions, providing unparalleled situational awareness and rapid incident response.
